  1. The first thing I noticed as I
  2. loaded the software on my ARM 2
  3. A420/1 was the terrible speed of
  4. screen drawing on startup.  Not a
  5. major drawback, but not a great
  6. first impression to be greeted
  7. with.  It didn't take much more
  8. than a second, but when 1stWord+
  9. starts up without you even
  10. noticing, it just doesn't look
  11. good.

  13. Once I got down to using the
  14. package, my impression of its
  15. speed improved a lot.  The
  16. features all seemed to work quite
  17. pleasingly, but there is nothing
  18. really exceptional to mention
  19. (apart from the graphs) that you
  20. wouldn't expect to find in any
  21. good word processor or
  22. spreadsheet.
